Senior Project Manager

Responsible for scope, schedule and budget for digital projects on, and MobileApps (Android and iOS).


Ignite TV (1 years):

§  Managed the digital project of the overall $500 Million program, having 50+ cross functional team to deliver Rogers customers an IPTV service (Ignite TV) based on Comcast X1 solution for video delivery and home service integration.

§  Responsible for planning, budgeting, scope execution, launch planning to deliver Ignite TV browse, buy flows and content across different channels (, Mobile App iOS and Android) with integration with backend systems i.e. product catalogue, ordering and billing and payment systems.

§  Worked with cross functional teams in Agile and Waterfall framework to deliver and comply with standards (W3C), SEO reporting & analytics, WCAG2.0 requirements.

§  Coordinated with different departments i.e. UX Designer, Content Copy writer, Content authors, Legal, Information Security, Development, Akamai application for fast web content delivery.


Share Everything Plan (7 Months):

§  Managed digital project ( Everything) valued $2.1M starting from initiation phase to closure. The project allowed customers to control and get up to 3x more video by optimizing video quality and increase data usage and sharing. Project provided Rogers with ROI 195%, IRR 35% and payback in 1.2 years.


CMS Replacement (4 months):

§  Involved at the inception phase for the requirement definition, funding, tools evaluation and vendor procurement for replacing current “TeamSite/Livesite” tool with “Contentful”.


Revamp Enterprise and Small Business sites (8 Months):

§  Responsible to deliver project valued $5M with multiple cross functional agile teams and vendors. The project was to improve the UX, Content and capabilities of the Discovery and Buy sites on digital channels ( and mobile app) because the fragmented experience was limiting the lead generation coming from the digital space, with the 6M annual visits converting to leads at 1.3% whereas industry benchmark was 2.2%.

§  Key objectives met were Business User Data Management, Business User Experience, Business user driven CMS and Templates, New Site Hierarchy, Managed Product Catalogue (enables bundling), Increase lead generation capability, Content Integration of Rogers Business Forums, Robust Reporting and Analytics, Bold Chat Sales & Support migration for Small, SEO and Search Capabilities.


Rogers Billing User Experience redesign (5 months):

§  Managed the project of approximately $3 Million, having 25+ cross functional team and vendors (Amdocs, TCS) to deliver Rogers, Fido customers and care agents with more better billing user experience on web, mobile.

§  Responsible to establish team, governance structure and communication plan.

§  Responsible to prepare a schedule plan with the help of delivery, vendors and Billing product management team.

§  Worked with multiple vendors, procurement, finance teams for the establishment of SOW’s & project engagement.


Action and Offers/Campaign (10 Months):

§  Managed project valued $2.3M and show relevant actions and offers to the customer in the wireless and residential buy flows, shop, service and support areas by taking big data sources, event data and customer segments using the next best action engine, real time decision management (RTDM) to deliver personalized experiences to consumer base within the online and app channels.


RSA Token Authentication upgrade and integration with Sales portal (7 Months):

§  Managed the upgrade and migration of RSA token authentication 8.1 within a VMWare ESX environment and integrate with Rogers Sales and retailer’s application and enable two factor authentications.

§  The result was reduction of frauds, business loss and security risk compliance level and protection of customer information. The project was worth $1M with a team size of 20+ (infra, security, development, middleware, testing, performance etc.).

§  Collaborated with Infrastructure and WebOps team to setup RSA servers on Private Cloud and with network team for setting proper Firewall and network changes.

GENERAL CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY (GCAA)                 May 2010 – August 2015

Data Warehousing and Reporting Project (8 months):

§  Prepared plan for the project worth $300K, elicited requirements for data warehousing, integration, wrote SQL, created data marts, dimensions in QlikView.

§  Involved in vendor selection for BI tools (Tableau, QlikView & Business Objects) and its implementation.

§  Facilitated database team to prepare approximately 30 reports and dashboards, spanning 5 departments and 550 end users to view an integrated and up-to-date status of their application process.

§  Reduced the time (from 1 week to 20 seconds) to consolidate data and generate a report, which ultimately improved decision making and helped forecast future demands and identify areas of weaknesses.

§  Cut down the workload on IT staff to develop reports due to the self-service capability provided to the staff.


Corporate Website (6 months):

§  Managed the project valued $25M to revamp the User Experience (UX), Content, IA with the help of cross functional units to comply with the federal government web and content, W3C & WCAG standards for Web and Mobile (SAMAE).

§  Improved the UX and accessibility by implementing WCAG Levels (AA and AAA) e.g. Text to Speech, Text Size, alt text, video alternate, contrast site for visually impaired customers.

§  Collaborated with Development, Product owners during templates mockups/wireframe creation in SharePoint 2007.

Banking CRM Solution Implementation for Dubai Islamic Bank, Commercial Bank Dubai (6 months):

§  Managed project worth $1M which is used throughout the bank with over 700+ concurrent users in call center, branches, and other bank’s departments. It covers customer service and sales modules.

§  Created Schedule in MS Project for the integration CRM with backend systems i.e. Middleware and Banking Host.

§  Planned and transition the hardware (IVR, Telephone) with AVAYA and integration with CTI and Softphone component.

§  CRM improved first call resolution time from 53% to 85% and increased the Agent retention and cut training costs along with on-boarding time and mistakes.


ATM Administration/Controller for different Banks (1 Year):

§  Managed the Implementation (Design, development, Integration and testing) of Web-based ATM Controller to managed bank ATM Machines for the different banks in collaboration with NCR (ATM Manufacturer).

§  Integrated with bank middleware using API to pass instructions to ATM’s and pulls cash, ATM status information. Involved with internal QA and bank IT team for the testing.

§  Managed the Design, development and Integration of Web-based Credit Card billing system implementation at KASB Bank.


Internet Banking Integration with Middleware at Dubai Islamic Bank (5 months):

§  Managed the Integration, testing of bank Internet Banking application with middleware and core banking host (Phoenix).

Intranet Portal for Al-Habtoor Leighton Group, (6 Months):

§  Developed schedule plan in MS Project 2007 for the implementation of intranet portal on SharePoint 2008, did kick off presentation to identified stakeholders, trainings, demonstrations in addition to conducting weekly status meetings with the customer steering committee, Coordinated with 20+ resources.

HR Portal for Dubai Financial Market (DFM) (7 Months):

§  Managed the development of $250k HR portal project that includes 10 key HR processes workflow automation using SharePoint 2007, integration with SMPP gateway (for SMS) and IVR hardware.

§  Supervised multiple onsite and offshore team of 15+ resources including Technical Leads, Designers & Information Architects and partner team.
