Position:                      Application Developer – Full Stack

Position Type:                         Contract – 6 Months

Location:                     Toronto, ON

Description: You will be working closely with development team as well as the SCRUM team composed of BAs, QAs, Project Managers, and the Scrum Master. You may also be working with internal clients as needed. This resource will be supporting the daily operational tasks within this team.

This team is the Regulatory Reporting group for Capital Markets. They develop a variety of applications with the MS technology stack to support this function. They have moved to a full Agile/Scrum methodology, operating in 2-week sprints.

Must-Have:

• 8-10+ years of .NET development experience
• Experience working as a full-stack developer
• Hands-on experience with all of the following technologies:
• C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC
• JSON, XML, REST API
• Microservices
• MS SQL Server
• Unit testing experience
• Understanding of SOLID Design Principles

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TFS (Team Foundation Server)
• Understanding of Event Driven Design
• Experience with ElasticSearch
