Description:

As a key member of the Management team, the VP Sales (IT Professional Services and Products) will report to the Chief Executive Officer and assume a strategic role in the sales and development of the company. The Head of sales will manage the planning, research and execution of the organization’s objectives and strategic plans in order to achieve business opportunities, growth and financial profitability.

As well oversee and participates in activities to develop the company’s strengths, identifying potential new markets and business opportunities, increasing share of market and obtaining a competitive position in the industry.

The Head of Sales will be accountable for the development and growths of the sales team always looking for new ways to improve productivity and strengthen the skills sets of his team.

Functional Requirements:

  • Develop a yearly comprehensive Business Plan with quarterly and monthly formal reports.
  • Responsible to implement new strategies if accounts are not performing to set goals.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals and profit dollars for assigned accounts.
  • Implement annual comprehensive tactical sales plans to enhance company’s market penetration and sales and cash flow growth for each assigned account.
  • Develop comprehensive insight on competitive landscape of the industry and how it relates to directing future market penetration strategies and understanding our major competitors.
  • Develop business plans to introduce products, service, and capabilities to a new potential clients.
  • Implement a business plan for each sales associate with clear goals and growth for the short and long view.
  • Assist in negotiations with sales associates when needed.
  • Mentor and develop the skills of the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Business Administration would be considered an asset
  • 10 + years of experience in similar Managerial roles in the Tech or FinTech.
  • Proven ability for implementation of strategies, practices, and processes to maximize sales and new business.
  • Proven ability to train, develop, assign, and evaluate teams in accordance with organizational goals and standards.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple team members within an entrepreneurial work setting.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with advanced analytical, problem-solving, negotiation skills and abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
