Business Unit Description:

A great opportunity to work on a large scale office which handles 365 projects; opportunity to gain visibility with senior executives; possibility of renewal.

Technology – responsible for the delivery of technology in support of businesses and customers. Directly aligns to organization’s businesses, with a technology team for each business. Delivers world class solutions in support of business strategies, through a combination of in-house systems development and working with leading technology partners. This group also manages organization’s core computing facilities, telecommunications and networks globally.

Technology Operations – responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the technology organization, focusing on an integrated approach to operations, service delivery, planning and the processes supporting the organization. TO is also responsible for enterprise services such as email, Telecom, Disaster Recovery, Network Servers, Availability, Change Management and partnership with HP. 



  • End User services from inception to decommissioning, following all key process .
  • Responsible for service quality, availability, optimization, and commoditization.
  • Act as a single point of contact for Service strategy, direction, introduction of new Infrastructure functionality, standards, and policies.
  • Develop and execute a technology oriented Roadmap of Initiatives to improve the services
  • Develop a currency plan Ensure coordination among key functions such as, Service Owners, Engineering, Architecture, and Solutioning


  • Provide strategic direction and leadership aimed at the strengthening and maturing the End User Service
  • Understand current and future business needs and incorporate these into a roadmaps and currency plans
  • Translate Strategic direction into Roadmap Initiatives


  • Definition and design of service offerings to meet the needs of application teams or end users
  • Develop formal service descriptions that describe service functionality, service model and cost models


  • Work with Vendors that supplying technology for the related service through:
  • Reviews of vendor roadmaps
  • SME input in the support of contract negotiations and renewals
  • Support model definition
  • Problem management of systemic issues
  • New service offering discussions


  • Manage the End User services standards and make recommendations to the Director for continued improvements.
  • Ensure that policies and standards are followed for the Services being managed. Typical policies / standards areas are:
    • Governance
    • Security
    • Technology Development Framework
    • Architecture


  • Manage, assist and establish financial aspects for Services including Total cost of ownership, Licenses, Maintenance and Initiatives budgets


  • SME to act as consultant and leader in the End User services space


  • Maintain regular contact with technology service owners and senior management
  • Maintain effective working relationship with all Service Owners in SPM
  • Partner closely with Infrastructure teams : Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Information Security, Business Management and consumers of the service



  • As an employee, the incumbent must comply with all applicable and Line of Business policies, standards, guidelines and controls.

 Must Have Technical Skills:

  • 5 to 10 years of related experience in Infrastructure Services.
  • 10 years’ experience in the End User services space, preferably at an FI or other large complex organization with a multi-vendor environment.
  • 4+ years’ experience with technical planning and delivery of a combination of solutions including Microsoft o365, Azure AD and EMS.
  • Experience with providing technical advice and ensuring continuous alignment to the roadmap.
  • Able to lead the migration or integration of multiple identity management services to the cloud, including SSO, MFA and Directory Services.
  • Familiar with Identity Management solutions from a range of suppliers such as RSA, Microsoft, Ping Identity and Quest.
  • Experience with Security initiatives and/or security credentials would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of the ITSM process management practices, requirements, and support services.


  • Relationship Management–Ability to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with clients, vendors and peers.
  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic–Ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1 – 2 years) and strategic (3 – 5 years) planning in support of the business plan.
  • Leadership–Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining the cooperation and support of others.
  • Influencing–Ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking–Knowledge of tools and techniques for effective use of a broad range of factors, assumptions, frameworks and perspectives when solving problems.
  • Communication skills – ability to write and speak clearly and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience.


  • Engineering Degree in a discipline relevant to the demands of the position
