Position: Sr. Network Analyst

The main function of a Network Analyst is to determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks. A typical network engineer is responsible for planning and implementing network upgrades. This is for a specific project, migrate PPM tunnels, from one firewall to another
Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands.
Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs.
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades with other technical or end-user staff.
Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems.
Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routing schemas.
Develop and implement solutions for network problems.
Perform network or software upgrades in a global, multi-vendor environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
5-7 years networking industry experience required.
Network/systems administration/related work experience required .
Fundamental understanding of IP routing and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, Multicast) and their implementation in an Enterprise class network.
Hands on experience with a number of Cisco router and switch platforms (Nexus 5K, 7K, Catalyst 6500/4500/3650 IOS or IOS-XE based platforms).
Experience with deploying and managing firewalls from multiple security vendors including Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet.
Experience with firewall rule management software including Cisco Security Manager, Juniper Network Security Manager, Fortinet FortiManager and Algosec.
Prior experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting IPSEC based site-to-site tunnels on Cisco ASA and IOS/IOS-XE based platforms.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification a plus.
Working knowledge of F5 load balancers an asset.
Programming skills including PERL, Python, and RESTful API integration as they pertain to the software defined data center considered an asset.
Knowledge and/or experience with working with automation or orchestration tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, Powershell is considered an asset.
Knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage.
Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.
IPSEC based site-to-site tunnels on Cisco ASA and IOS/IOS-XE based platforms. (project is to migrate these tunnels from one environment to another, they must have expert knowledge of
IPSEC tunnels work. CISCO ASA and IOS/IOS, cisco routers (5-7 years of experience)
Any of Cisco Security Manager, Juniper Network Security Manager, Fortinet FortiManager or Algosec (5-7 years of experience)
Designing and implementation experience is a must
Excellent communication skills are must (able to comprehend, critically think, not just verbal etc)
Experience with 3rd party technical people
