Location: Toronto, Guelph, Kingston, other Southern Ontario Cities
As the Project Manager Leader you may be required to work on multiple projects, and would be engaged upon approval of each project charter at the point when the MoP validation/execution is required. This would be on short notice (approx. 5 business days). This is for part-time work only, and the duration of engagement is project dependent. You will be utilized as required in order to deliver the requirements as they are defined, on demand, and will be expected to deliver within short timeframes. The majority of work can take place at the OPS/ITS office nearest the MoP Release Coordinator’s geographic location, with an expectation of travel to the project deployment site during the period of project implementation/delivery.
During actual deployment activities, you will be expected to attend the deployment location. 80% of the time, deployment will likely be in Toronto, Guelph, or Kingston. However, it is possible that other southern Ontario cities or any other Client OPS location may be involved in deployment.
Facilitate, validate (non-technical), execute Method of Procedure (MoP) for Production Deployment
Ensure clear and comprehensive Production Implementation and Verification plans
Ensure knowledge and skills transfer to support staff enabling full delivery and support of service
Activate and verify Production Deployment
Provide post-deployment feedback to eSM Release Coordinator
Work within the model of ITIL Best Practices,
Experience in coordinating the deployment of large projects
Microsoft platform for Office Productivity, including VISIO and MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, MS Project
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to perform self-directed activity
Must have very strong customer relationship management, interpersonal and communication skill
Practical knowledge in: the software development lifecycle, and infrastructure build and deployment process, Application Life cycle, Infrastructure technologies
Must have demonstrated experience with project deployment planning and activation.
