Proactively and consistently position product philosophy, process and performance in relation to the competition and the market environment. Clearly communicate the features and benefits of the investment team’s approach and products to various internal audiences (including – Sales, Marketing etc). Partner with Product Manager and Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) to serve as the main contact and source of information flow between Investment team and all internal clients (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Legal etc).
Partner with International & Global Growth, US Growth and US Value Product Managers and CPMs to promote and grow a $126 billion equity product line
Write product specific performance commentary as required for internal or external client usage, including regulatory required annual reports and prospectus updates as well as other quarterly fund specific materials
Act as skilled reviewer of data and language used in internal and external materials (e.g. marketing literature, RFPs, Due Diligence Questionnaires etc) to insure clarity, consistency and accuracy of messaging
Partner with Product Manager, CPMs, investment team, marketing and other internal resources on the research and creation of internal sales ideas, external marketing literature, annual Fund Board meetings and finals presentations
Provide and/or verify answers to investment process, investment approach, team structure and other questions on an as needed basis
Convey feedback from Sales, Marketing, Legal and others back to the investment team
Collaborate with internal resources on quarterly updates and regular maintenance of consultant and other 3rd party databases (e.g., Mercer, Morningstar, eVestment Alliance)
Assist with RFP completion by providing and verifying investment process based questions
Participate in internal and external client meetings and provide follow-up service as required
Maintain knowledge of economy, financial markets, asset classes and competitive landscape. Use this knowledge to continually inform the Sales team on product message
Must Have Technical Skills:
Minimum three to five years’ work experience in the investment advisory or investment management industry
Will also consider individuals with experience in non-product management roles having analytical and/or investment based background\
Bachelors Degree Required
Series 6 and 7 and Series 63 or 65 required within 6 months of employment required.
Nice To Have:
Advanced degree CFA, CIMA, CPA preferred
Might work overtime hours, and possibly evenings/weekends depending on project, as well possible 24 hour on call support by Blackberry or cell phone.
