The Programmer/Developer is required to develop, support and maintain components of the client’s Solution, with emphasis on Panorama Enhanced Analytical Reporting (PEAR), application and database development and includes modifications to the underlying components of PEAR to conform to vendor upgrade releases of the Panorama product, business requirements changes as well as specialized support for the overall client’s Solution. Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes technical analysis, preparation of detailed programming and reports specifications, program design, writing and/or generating code, and conducting unit tests. They will provide software expertise in various computing platforms, operating systems, database technology, communication protocols, Middleware and gateways.
Extensive knowledge and skills with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, optimized database queries, and data architecture and data modeling and mapping
Business intelligence and data analytics, data warehouse design, development and support Cognos report design and development, Framework manager, Query Studio, Reports Studio, creation of dashboards, etc. Other reporting tools would also be an asset, particularly Crystal Reports and Business Objects
Informatica for data extraction, transformation, and loading, initial setup and other ELT management and support, such as troubleshooting, performance tuning, failover and recovery
Master Data Management, data model for Big Data, Cognitive Computing, DeIdenfication Python, “R” and statistics
General Expertise in all of the following areas:
Developing and maintaining system design models, program code, technical documentation and Specifications
Conducting technical evaluation and assessment of options for technical design issues, Panorama configuration aspects and integration capabilities, related tools and utilities, gap analysis of integration components to technical requirements / specifications / documentation.
Conducting technical analysis, trouble-shooting, and issue resolutions for production operational support of Panorama reports and other components and utilities.
Contributing to operational and project plans, including work effort breakdown and task estimates.
Able to work independently or as part of a team to plan, organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Able to demonstrate the flexibility to take on varied assignments and adaptability to use multiple new technologies as requested
Knowledge of Immunization Ontario Solution (ION) or equivalent Knowledge of the Digital Health Drug Repository solution or equivalent
